    In which our hero makes introductions and salutations, retreads painful memories of high school, and commences the great experiment. Adam Umak was born in Franklin, Pennsylvania in 1980. Parts of his childhood were spent in Central Florida where his parents and grand- parents raised him. At sixteen his family relocated to the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was not until these formative years that Adam began to read fiercely and write clumsily. Adam teaches 8th Grade Language Arts at Thurmont Middle School in Frederick County, Maryland. In his free time he enjoys collecting original comic book art, playing board games with friends, and mentally preparing for the inevitable zombie apocalypse. Adam lives alongside the Blue Ridge Mountains with his wife, Jamie.
